Since it was so full of stuff in my garage,
ans so little here on the pageI thought I might share some pictures from the garage
from the build up of the HotWok 2004.

This year I havent concentrated all my attention to the engine.
The engine was put together last year,
but for different reasons I never came outside of the garage with the car.
As you can read in a previous update the fenders got some attention,
but apart from that some of the interior has got some kind of facelift.
Here my friend Elmer is taking out the dash to replace it with a coated one.

I also got hold of a set of EBS-discs.
They were initially purchased by Stoffe for his car,
but he lost his interest in it so I bougt his car and took all the goodies before I sold it on.
The shocks are Koni fully adjustable.

I wanted to be sure to get a good spark at all times.
Therefore I decided to put in one coil per cylinder.
The only use I have for the distributor is to pick up the triger pulse to the Autronic SMC.

Here are some misc. buildup pics:

As can be seen I have got my self an Autronic SMC
and the plan was to get rid of all bogus extra injectors, lumpy idle and missfiring.
The advantage of having a fully programmable injection/ignition system is pretty obvious,
but just as they are obvious they are also demanding a whole new perspective of precision.
The good thing is that the ECU will only do what I program it to do,
but that means I have to tell it exactly what it should do in all possible situations.
When this summer is over I will probably have pretty good knowledge
of how to set up an aftermarket ecu, but right now I can honestly tell you
that I do not fully understand half of all functions in it.

The injectors on the images are 391 cc/m wich turned out to be way too small,
so they have been replaced with 505cc/m wich I have modifyed slightly... =)
