TXM Cup #4 4/8 2002
This was the first event after my vacation in Spain for two weeks.
It felt like everything was going to be alright...
typical Tullinge Raceway weather, 25-30 degrees Celcius and a burning sun.
Here Filip (one of the "mechanics") i relaxing in the shadow...
Unfortunally, as always, there are some small parts that really does'nt work properly.
I had pressurized the internal dumpvalve in the turbocharger by simply
stealing some of the vacuum from the wastegate hose.
It builded up boost pressure nearly perfectly, but now the engine wouldn't rep above 5-6K
As usual I tried with lower boost, higher and lower feulpressure but no success.
Best time for the Wok this day was 14,002 - 136 km/h
That says quite a lot about how bad it reved.
This fine day another Cherry owner ad found it's way to Tullinges prepared track.
He calls himselfe Mang3, but his name is really Magnus. (common Swedish name)
His car went mid 15:s but he was a really nice fellow,
so he will probably show up in yhe members section soon.
Since this race was a while ago, it feels like it's no idea for me
sitting and trying to find something funny to write about it.
Therefor I just give you the pictures as they are.
