10:th of June, it was time for the second edition of Lazzat Strip Challenge.
The first time it rained away, and the Wok wasn't race ready.

The week before the race was really not pleasant for me,
I started the week with emptying the petrol tank since
some moron had placed a large amount of sugar in it.

On top of plane and simple sabotages, the generator failed to work from time to time.
It was even on its way to fall off the car sometimes.
The generator-belt was constantly trying to jump off the generator and water pump.
I also had problems with vacuum leakages around the throttle.

On my way to Västerås, I felt something were not as it should with the car,
but I decided to run the race anyway.
The problem was that as soon as I was trying to build up boost,
the engine started to misfire, but as soon I got over 0,5 bar the engine run like it should.

I did some experimenting with higher feul pressure, lower feul pressure,
Advance and retard the ignition, more and less extra-feul, and so on...
...but nothing helped.

The runs were "slightly" un-even...
At start the engine miss fired and was doing nothing but behaving badly,
then after 10-20 metres it was like turning on the ignition key.
both the wheels started to spin the rest of first gear, and half second gear.
Although it was always too late to win any of the races.

The problem with building up boost later showed up to be a failure in the built in blowoff-valve.
That was easily solved by simply putting all possible boost directly in to it.
That kept the darn valve closed at all times.

Here are a couple of other pictures I took at the event:
