The week prior the magazine Bilsport's event "A Day At The Dragstrip"...
Lots of things to do, and little time to do it on.
And I didn't exavtly get more time, since I got hold of an intercooler from a Fiat Uno.
Step one was to get the bastard in place.
and the easyest way to mount the IC, was to put it between the turbo and the intake.
The only disturbance, was that the IC was a bit high...
so I could just as well loose the hood at once.
I drove around for a couple of days, to get an idea of how to make a scoop
...But eventually it got to be Thursday night, and no ideas popping up.
Emmaboda was within less than two days, so I had to make something, and fast.
To drive the 500Km without any hood, wasn't that tempting.
So in the mean while I made a "minor" opening in the hood...
I have to thank Tom at ligisto.net for welding my new intake-pipe
and Anders at BBS, for tips and patience...
