Facts:
The car, a Nissan 180ZX was bought in June 2002.
It was already equipped with the Garrett T25
instead of the stock T2.
Joakim saw the potential in the car at once but after only a month
the cluch was ruined. Joakim wanted to do everything his own way,
and that was during the prime time for the Cherrys and he didnt want to be left behind.
Therefor he took out the engine and renovated it.
The intercooler comes from Saab 900 8v,
and the pop off valve was replaced by the same type of hardware plug
that are comonly used for the Cherrys.
His first atemt for racing the car was during the anual winter-drags
wich are aranged illegally in a propriate industrial area.
He got beaten by a red N12 Turbo (not signed by hotwok)
That made Jakim even more percistant to tune his engine.
During the summer 2003 he ran a couple of races at 201m.
Best ET so far 9,48s - 122km/h (76mph)
with an exhaust system almost completely loose.
Some 0-100km/h tests has ben done with G-Tech, wich resulted in 6,1 s.
Not fantastic figures, but still not slow for a 180zx in Sweden...
