Facts:
The modifications is yet only an open air filter,
BOV, sports steering wheel, pedals, gearknob, a heavy car stereo,
15 inch aloy rims and some random stickers.
Plans for the summer is 3" exhaust system, Saab 9000 intercooler,
increase boost, and so on.
There might be a stock Toyota Supra turbo charger on its way too.
Bearings and piston rings are to be changed as soon as the economics is solved.
The garage is full of un usefull stuff such as 125cc motorcyckles.
NOS is also something that Danne is pretty keen on to get.
The biggest problem of all however
is that Danne hasn't got the age to obtain a drivers license until July 2003,
so the earliest event we will be able to see this car at is at Mantorp in August.
After the short term mods are done, he is aiming at mods more like found on the Hot Wok.
The whole idea with this car started up with most of Dannes friends
stealing their parents cars and being out racing at night.
Nor Danne or his friends were old enough but the problem Danne had was
that his parents didn't have any car to take.
There for he and his cousin bought this car together for about 100 Euro's
It was close after the Wok was published for the first time in the magazine Bilsport,
so they knew what they were in to.
When the car was bought it didn't start of its own battery,
and the seller accidently fryed the alternator, ECU and some fuses as
he mixed up the cables as he was trying to jump start it.
Well done!
After a week or so the car was towed home safely,
and another 150 Euro's later the car started up as it should.
Danne and his cousin was like kings of the streets night time
but after two nights the boys in blue had ideas of giving them madly high fees,
and even threatened to impound the car
if they didn't quit racing it night time without drivers licences.
To get an easyer enviroment they mooved the car to an old military field
where the cops hardly ever goes and where one of his friends had a garage.
The garage was for speedway motorcyckles ONLY,
so all work on the Cherry had to be carried out outside.
After driving around on the old military area for a while,
the cops found there way in, and Danne got busted again.
Now he's going to wait untill he gets his licence
before he will race the car again.

He promises to make the streets as unsecure as possible
as soon as he gets his licence,
-Everyone shall be aware of the Cherry power from that date!
It is yet to be found out how fast it will be,
but one big challenge would deffinitly be to run against the Hot Wok.
With NOS it might be intresting too see, says Danne.
On the other hand he isn't focusing on 402 metres,
he is more after traction and styling...
