At easter we went to Jönköping, Elmia to participate to the anual Bilsport Performance Show.
The exibition had 75.000 visitors so if Sundsvall was a sneak peak, this was the verry big bang.
We shared exibition area with Mikael Kågered and his Top Fuel Dragster.
Mikael himself could not be at the show all five days so we took care of his fueler concerning closing and opening of the show.

We had brought lots of lights but had no whare to put them. We tried to put them on the floor, but the light didnt make the paint right, so we decided to skip them. That made the paint verry hard to photograph, and I guess thats why so few photos are published on it from the show.
Everyone that had the chanse to see it live were verry pleased, and still thats what a motor show is all about, right?

Funny the car attracted so many different kinds of persons.
Wasted hillbillys, grandparents, disco-youngsters, boys and girls in all ages
seemed to find something about it wearth an extra look.
Since there were so massive with people all the time I can imagine there were persons that wanted to talk to us but just didnt get a chanse.
I talked to at least thousands of people, and we distributed 1000 flyers.

The show was open friday-monday for the crowd, but the performance area were we were had an extra VIP-day on thursday.
Five days of constantly talking to people, and five nights checking out the nightlife in Jönköping was a tough job.
I bet it took me a week to get back to normal.

The magazine Bilsport asked me what I thought of the exibition.

Björn Holmberg with the "HotWok Cherry" has developed
his car with fire, wheels and E85 fuel for this years season.
-There have ben people around the car all the time, that wants
to talk and ask questions. They wonder what car it is, and why
it has slicks in front and skinnys in rear. Great fun.
Also cool to see so much different people looking at it and having opinions.
Old school hillbillys, old ladys, men, whomen, kids and disco youngsters.

Our garage neighburs got their Honda Civic Drag edition ready for the show too.
They had it in Graphiclines exibition area but they were busy selling stickers from what I could tell.
This car will be a quick one when its ready for the tracks.
Scary Paint took care of the paint job, just as he did with ours.
