Toyo Scandinavian Dragracing Series
Aros Nationals Västerås 2007

29/6 - 1/7

So finally it was time to get out of the garage and hit the track.
Several CV-joints had broken outside the garage,
but for some reason we belived in getting to the track.
This track is only a one hour drive from Stockholm so we mostly went there for testing.

Always cool to load the car to the truck.

In Västerås the weather was nice.
Unfortunally the pits are on gras and the distance between track and pit
is just a bit too far for me, but never the less. It is a track,
and it is a good place to test the car at.

Once at the track everyone started guessing how fast it would go,
would it brake? New record? ...

We had just made a new theoretical map for the Autronic
so the first and only run on Friday was just to obtain a log-file
so we could see our theory were ok.
It was ok and everything looked ok.

On saturday we broke both outer CV-joints in the burnout,
and thereby our track weekend were over.
After a while it started raining cats and dogs wich made the grass turn into mud more or less.

We got ourselves home with two basic oportunitys.
Renovate the old cluch that I burnt badly on tha last race 2006,
or buy a verry large amount of CV-joints...
Since I was pretty much broke the answer to that was fairly simple... =)

Many thanks to the team paticipating this weekend:
Fille, Elmer and Nalle.
