we started working on the rest of the car.
The idea was to get a real paintjob done this time.
While I was finnishing the intake and cooling-system,
Fille built new bodyparts like he's never done anything else in his life.
Just a couple of days before going to the paintshop we got slight panic.
Someone had forgotten to weld the doors together, and a couple of thousand other things too.
High mount towing hook fastener is just one out of many details that had to be finnished before painting.
Many many ours of preparations later we finaly got to the point
where we could prepaint the car. The idea is to pre paint it in two stages.
First a basic one and then in a slightly different color in the second stage.
For instance this time we had some dark orange to mix with the light gray primer.
Funny how only a zip orange can make the gray so fantasticly piggy pink...
-I have no coments for that,
but luckily for us the car was on its way to the paintshop the day after.
At 22:55 the next day we arived at the paintshop.
04:11 the paint was finnished.
All tired and excited we went home. On Sunday I will bring it home again.
