Since I still hasen't got the car out of the garage,
I fealt like it was time for an update from it...
Not so much is left to do,
but oh, how long time all those small things might take.
In the previous report from the garage I described some of the rolercage.
It is now mounted.
The rolercage will probably add an extra 35-40 kilos to the cars weight.
To compensate that I decided to put in plastic windows.
As the rolercage and the windows were all in place,
it fealt like it was a good time to start puting the engine back together.
The head had a couple of weeks left until ready,
but I put the block and gearbox together and put it into the car...
Not that axels or ball joints has caused me any trouble at all so far,
I figured that at sometime they have to brake.
Therefor I let a company make two new axels in a custom material for me.
I kept my old ball joints that I used during 2002.
On films from 2002 one can clearly see that the car dips in the back,
when starting off.
To reduce that effect I put in Koni fully adjustable shockers.
Down below is some various build up photos.
The first is on my new fuel rail rebuilt to mach O-ringed injectors.
After that is my new feul pressure regulator, Malpassi 1,4:1.
Then it's the main power swichthat I should have installed 2002.
Now only those little things that usually take alot more time than expected are left to do.
Hopefully next update will include photos from elswhere than the garage.
